Free Diagnostics! No Appointment Necessary.
San Marcos Computers offers free diagnostics of desktop computers. Bring your desktop in to our store and a San Marcos Computer technician will perform a complete series of hardware tests. Our desktop free diagnostics includes:
Visual inspection of your motherboard to determine if any capacitors are blown.
Power supply test.
Hard drive surface test.
RAM test.
After the computer hardware tests are performed we will then inspect your desktop’s operating system to determine if it is infected with any viruses or malware. Our computer technician will inspect running processes, inspect the computer logs, and determine if there are any underlying software issues.
If our computer technician finds any problems with you desktop, we will contact you with a flat rate estimate of the repairs need to restore your computer to optimum operating performance.

Due to their nature and complexity, San Marcos Computers charges a $100 diagnostic fee to assess custom gaming computers. In the event that you have San Marcos Computers repair your custom gaming computer for you, the diagnostic fee would be applied towards the agreed upon cost of labor to repair.
